HGA Grades Fleer Cards

Founded in 1885 by Frank H. Fleer, the Fleer Corporation revolutionized the bubble gum industry, creating the first successful bubble gum, Dubble Bubble, in 1928. Initially family-owned until 1989, Fleer gained prominence for its iconic pink-colored bubble gum that set a tradition for the industry.
Beyond bubble gum, Fleer became a notable producer of sports cards, starting with baseball cards in 1923 and later expanding to American football (1960) and basketball (1986). The company also delved into non-sports trading cards.
Facing financial challenges, Fleer made strategic moves, including acquiring SkyBox International in 1995. However, by 2005, Fleer suspended its trading card operations, initiating asset liquidation to repay creditors. In a competitive auction, competitor Upper Deck secured the Fleer name and die-cast toy business for $6.1 million.
The closure marked the end of an era, as Fleer’s rich legacy in bubble gum and sports cards came to a close. Despite rejecting a $25 million offer a year earlier, Fleer’s financial struggles reflected challenges in the sports card market. Collectors faced uncertainties about redemption cards, but some relief came in 2006 when random memorabilia cards were distributed to address concerns. Fleer’s history remains intertwined with the evolution of bubble gum and sports card collecting, leaving an indelible mark on both industries.
HGA Grades Panini Cards
Importance of Grading Your Panini Cards
Graded cards often have a higher resale value and are more sought after by serious collectors to display, invest, and sell. It doesn’t matter if it is for personal collection or you are selling your cards, the first step to upgrading your collection is to get it graded.

Importance of Grading Fleer Cards

Grading is an important part to any collector who wants to preserve, protect, and authenticate their collection. Grading your cards gives you assurance and piece of mind of the following points.

Condition Determination

A card’s grade can significantly influence its market value. A mint condition card can fetch prices exponentially higher than its worn counterparts.

Authenticity

Grading ensures the card’s authenticity, protecting collectors from counterfeit cards. As well as being labeled with the detailed information about the cards set, release and variation.

Protection

Once graded, cards are sealed in a tamper-resistant, protective case, preserving their condition. Allowing you to display and show off your cards without fear of damage or wear.

Our Unique Label Designs Enhance Your Cards

HGA’s custom labels enhance graded Fleer cards by offering a personalized and visually striking touch that complements the design aesthetics of Fleer’s trading cards. The ability to tailor labels with custom designs and colors allows collectors to create a cohesive and unique presentation that resonates with the themes of the Fleer cards. This level of customization not only adds an extra layer of visual appeal but also serves as a storytelling element, allowing collectors to highlight specific details or commemorate special moments associated with their Fleer cards. As a result, the combination of Fleer’s quality cards and HGA’s custom labels creates an individualized collector experience, fostering a deeper connection between the collector and their graded Fleer cards.
